Dr. Hadeel Alrez

General Dentistry

Dr. Alrez completed her B.S. from Northern Kentucky University in 1994 and her DMD from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 1998. From 1998-1999 she completed a certificate of Advanced Education in General Dentistry from the University of Pittsburgh. Through continuing education and state-of-the-art equipment, her practice is able to offer you and your family the high level of care you deserve and expect.

She has advanced additional training in orthodontics, cosmetics, periodontics, laser treatments, and customer service/practice management. This experience has provided her with a working understanding of an array of dental specialties allowing her to successfully treat, collaborate with, and advise patients. Dr. Alrez is actively involved in the community with Give Kids a Smile, which provides free dental care to low-income and disadvantaged children, and with CVIM (Community Volunteer in Medicine) in Chester County, PA.

Dr. Alrez makes every effort to stay up-to-date with the current developments in dentistry and actively participates in workshops, conferences, and webinars. She is a highly dedicated general dentist and takes great satisfaction in restoring patients’ self-esteem and creating beautiful, healthy smiles. Dr. Alrez aims at building strong, long-term relationships with her patients. Dr. Alrez is widely recognized for her thorough and gentle care of patients and takes pride in surrounding herself with an energetic and capable team with a confident and caring attitude.

Dr. Alrez enjoys traveling, hanging out with her family, friends and dog Rudy, cooking, gardening, reading, technology, spending time in Brigantine, and of course dentistry!

Dr. Alrez is a member of the National Dental Association.

Natasha Segal

Dental Assistant

Natasha has been in the dental field since 2008. Her passion for dentistry is driven by her love of people and the opportunity dentistry gives her to build relationships that make a difference in patients’ lives. “I really enjoy helping our patients. A beautiful smile makes such a difference to how a person feels and their confidence, and it is so rewarding to be a part of that.” Natasha complements Alrez Family Dentistry with her positive attitude, calming laugh, and cool accent! You will sense the sincere and honest relationship that Natasha and Dr. Alrez have together. Natasha enjoys spending time with her family and friends. In her free time, you will find her riding her Harley Davidson “Pearl Stallion” or training her two German Shepherds Bandit and Blitz.

Kara

Office Administrator

Kara has been working in the dental field since 2003 and has found her forever home with the office since 2016. She enjoys helping patients navigate the crazy world of dental insurance. In Kara’s free time she enjoys listening to Sinatra and spending time with her nephew Johnny and niece Daisy. Always a dog lover, she has a Pomeranian/Pekingese mix named Trixie and a Chihuahua mix named Rosie. When she finds time to vacation, she loves going to Disney World.

What year did you start in the dental field? 2003

What made you decide to get into dental? I was working in a mall and took a chance by applying with no experience. The manager really liked my customer service background, so she gave me a chance and hired me. I immediately fell in love with the field, especially the insurance side of things.   

If you could be a tooth, which one would you be? Tooth #11. It’s not quite the center of attention but it’s still in the front. I’m left-handed, it’s on the left side, and it’s a lucky number.

What is your favorite flavor of toothpaste? Aquafresh

Do you have a favorite childhood toy? My stuffed Rolly from 101 Dalmatians that I still have

Where did you grow up? Trainer, PA

Mountains or beaches? Beaches definitely. There’s nothing like laying on the beach, drink in hand, listing to the sound of the waves, and having fun conversations.

Last time you sang out loud – This morning. Every morning I sing in my car on the way to work to wake myself up and start the day right. I typically will sing along to Frank Sinatra or Broadway.

Last guilty pleasure – Shopping at Five Below to buy fun crafts, books, and journals

Last time I was starstruck – Back in the very early 2000’s I saw Michael Jackson coming off the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster in Disney World.

Whitney

Dental Hygienist

Whitney is a local and went through the Garnet Valley Schools from kindergarten to high school. She then went on to West Chester University to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences along with an Associate’s Degree in Dental Sciences from Harcum College in 1995. She has been a practicing Dental Hygienist since graduation. She then married her high school sweetheart Roger in 1997, and they live in Kennett Square with their two dogs Polly and Bocephus. Her favorite things in life are spending time with her dogs, volunteering at LaMancha Dog Rescue, and golfing with friends.

Nancy

Front Desk Coordinator

Nancy has well over 6 years of experience in the dental field, having been in the industry since 2017. Before coming to Alrez Family Dentistry, she worked at an oral surgeon’s office for 5 years. She started her dental career as a dental assistant and then transitioned to working the front desk. You will find her at the front desk, but she can be ready in the back when needed. In her time away from work, Nancy enjoys spending time with her daughter. As a “side hustle” she also does Esthetics and recently obtained her license.

Where did you grow up? I was born in Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico but came here at 6 months old and lived in Chicago with my mom and uncle. I then moved to Delaware and have been here ever since.
